Fix is a totally independent coffee shop located in a converted pub on this market street. It’s a lunch market that operates weekdays between 11am and 3pm. We recommend you make the trip down, it’s well worth it. Then stop by for a coffee.
We’ve been going for just over a year now, so would like to thank all our customers for helping us stick around.
The Coffee
We currently source our coffee from Climpsons & Sons in Hackney. They are now using the Peruvian Chanchamayo Co-
op green coffee for 58% of the blend. The blend also contains the excellent Brazil Fazenda de Lagoa
(33%) and Ethiopian Limu (9%). Medium roast, 100% arabica.
The roast profile produces a medium-full bodied flavour, so is robust enough to cut through milk
even as a single shot latte, whilst retaining enough sweetness and a delicate acidity to make fine
espressos for the shot lovers. No burnt, ashy notes here!
All the milk we use is organic, and has been since day 1. We have whole, skimmed or unsweetend soya milk.
